The philosophy of the M. Sc. Accounting programme is as follows:
To strengthen the intellectual capacity of students in the accounting discipline so as to equip them with adequate knowledge needed for understanding and analysis of the basic issues in the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Provided the University’s matriculation requirements are satisfied; Candidates are expected to have:
- Degree in Accounting from Glorious Vision University or from any other recognised University with minimum of second class lower division may be admitted provided the university matriculation requirements are satisfied or
- A postgraduate diploma in Accounting from Glorious Vision University or from any other recognised University.
Duration of the master degree programme is as follows:
- Full-time: A minimum of three (3) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters
- Part-time: A minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters.
