The top hierarchy of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, LAWNA Territory led by the Visitor /Chancellor of Glorious Vision University, Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel S. Awojide on Wednesday, 5th January, 2022, at exactly 1:34 pm, set his foot on the soil of the institution to commence the annual prayers for GVU.

As faith-based University, Glorious Vision University, Ogwa, enjoys the special grace of playing host to the very top and biggest gathering of God’s general at the beginning of every year.

As it has become the tradition, the 2022 three (3) days special prayers that is making GVU grow in lips and bound, took place in a special serene hall reserved for the prayers between Wednesday, 5th – Friday 7th   January,2022. At the prayer sessions which had poured immeasurable blessings and divine security on GVU, the Spirit of God assured GVU again that there shall be no loss of life and properties.

In company of Pastor Awojide were the full complement of the LAWNA Executive Council. The Visitor and his lieutenants used the opportunity to visit the College of Law, the Department of Mass Communication ultra-modern studios, GVU Radio and the College of Humanities language laboratories.

Before departing for Lagos on the 7th January, 2022, the Visitor/Chancellor and his team paid a courtesy visit on the Onogie of Ogwa HRH, Zaiki, Victor Agbonmere Ehizogie  11 (JP).  At the palace, the Visitor told the Onogie that he came to felicitate with him for the New Year and to thank him for his unflinching support for the University. The Royal Highness welcomed the Apostolic Church leaders and thanked the Chancellor for coming to his palace early in the New Year to felicitate with him. He reassured the Chancellor of GVU of continued peace and cordial relationship with the host community. He also used the opportunity to invite the Visitor / Chancellor to Ogwa ikhuen festival which comes up between 16th and 19th February, 2022. Before departing the palace, Pastor Awojide prayed for peace and prosperity for the King and the community.
