Idowu in his response expressed his satisfaction with the level of research being carried out at the Centre. He further expressed his happiness in seeing part of his ‘’African Green Plan’’ dream alive and growing fast at the Research Centre.  He stated that part of the medicine imported to Africa from Europe and other developed nations could be traced back to African herbs.  He opined that looking at how to use our green herbs for our health benefits, efforts should also be made to carry out extensive research on our local food constituents vis-à-vis the potency of these herbs in our total well-being. He encouraged local health providers to liaise with their orthodox counterparts so that these knowledge would be preserved for generations yet unborn. He thanked Rev. Fr. Adodo for his interest and love demonstrated for the University.

Recall that the College of Basic and Applied Science (COLBAS), Glorious Vision University had hosted its second International Conference and Exhibition in collaboration with Pax Herbal Clinic and Research Laboratory. Speaking on the need for continued relationship between the University and the Research Centre, Professor Babatunde Idowu said, “We can move forward and build on that friendship.” both institutions can work together by training and producing educated Nigerian traditional herbal practitioners. He suggested that the university can start from developing curricula for Diploma certificate and gradually progress to degree. ‘’Together we can produce scientists who are both indigenous and orthodox, Professor Idowu emphasised.

Responding, Rev. Fr. Adodo said the Centre had trained over two hundred students drawn from various universities  across Nigeria and encouraged the University to develop quickly the curricula for the Diploma Certificate   programmes which he said the Centre would gladly commence.
