The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved Nursing and thirteen other new academic programmes for Glorious Vision University to be run at the Ogwa Campus. The programmes are:
1. Bachelor of Nursing Science
2. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
3. B. A International Studies and Diplomacy
4. B.Sc Information Communication Technology
5. B.Sc Cybersecurity
6. B.Sc Information Systems
7. B.Sc Data Science
8. PhD Computer Science
9. PGD Microbiology
10. M.Sc Microbiology
11. PhD Microbiology
12. PGD Biochemistry
13. M.Sc Biochemistry
14. PhD Biochemistry
In an approval letter dated December 10th 2024, the Commission noted that the programmes are to be run on a full-time basis at the Ogwa Campus of the University.
The Vice Chancellor of Glorious Vision University, Prof. Ezekiel S. Asemah expressed his happiness about this positive development, saying that he is determined to take the university to a greater height.
Prof. Asemah noted that programmes make a university and with that in mind, him and his management team are fully dedicated to introducing viable and marketable programmes that will contribute to man power development, not only in Nigeria, but across the globe.
The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to God Almighty for this huge success. He also expressed his gratitude to the Visitor/Chancellor, Ps. Dr. S.G.O. Uyeh, the BOT, Governing Council, Management, Senate and staff of Glorious Vision University for their wonderful support and encouragement which led to this huge achievement.
