The newly constituted Board of Trustees (BOT) of Glorious Vision University (GVU), led by its Chairman, Pastor Dr Moses O. Oyewole, embarked on an official visit to the Ogwa Campus for an on-the-spot assessment of the university’s facilities.
The BOT Chairman was accompanied by other distinguished members including the Pro-Chancellor, Elder Professor Augustine E. Anigala; Elder Edet Okon Umoh; Pastor Isaac Obodoeki (Secretary); Chief Bernard Edewor; Deaconess/Barrister Omoye Osa-Osadolor; and Elder Lawal Oladipupo.
During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ezekiel Shegun Asemah, conducted the Board members round key university facilities. These included the University Library, Vice-Chancellor's Lodge, John Babatope Aluko Multipurpose Hall, student hostels, cafeteria, and the various academic colleges: College of Law, College of Humanities, College of Basic, Applied and Health Sciences, College of Management and Social Sciences, as well as the newly equipped Lecture Theatre.
As part of their visit, the Board also paid a courtesy call on the Onogie of Ogwa Kingdom, strengthening the university's ties with the host community.
In further engagement, the BOT held a meeting with members of the University Senate, where they solicited for continued cooperation in advancing the institution’s vision and mission.
Speaking at the end of the visit, Pastor Dr Moses O. Oyewole commended the Vice-Chancellor for his visionary leadership and remarkable strides in institutional development, noting that the physical improvements observed were a testament to focused and committed administration.
