Glorious Vision University recently hosted the National Universities Commission (NUC) Resource Verification Exercise for six newly proposed academic programmes: Employment Relations and Human Resources Management, Petroleum Economics, Software Engineering, Peace and Conflict Studies, Social Works, and Political Science. The exercise was conducted on Monday, 22nd September 2025, and Wednesday, 24th September 2025.
The NUC delegation, comprising four distinguished professors and representatives from the Commission, carried out a comprehensive assessment of both human and physical resources available for the take-off of the new programmes. The team toured relevant Colleges, departments, and facilities to ensure that the university met the necessary requirements.
Following the inspection, the verification teams expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness and commended the university for its proactive steps towards launching the new programmes. The team also lauded the visionary leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ezekiel Shegun Asemah, for the strategic investments made in infrastructure, staffing, and academic resources.
In his closing remarks, Professor Asemah expressed profound gratitude to God for granting the NUC team journey mercies to the university. He further appreciated the Commission for its invaluable support and encouragement, reaffirming the university’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous development.
